Component Repair Business
In addition to the production of new components for aircraft engines the activities of Pratt&Whitney Rzeszów include MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) services. Through these services damaged components are made fully airworthy again. The repair is carried out by a Component Repair Business (CRB), a repair station approved by the Aviation Regulatory Organization on the basis of Part 145. CRB specializes in the repair of components of category C7 main engines manufactured by Pratt & Whitney as well as the APU engines (Auxiliary Power Unit) manufactured by Pratt & Whitney Aero Power. The department’s capacity covers a wide range of standard repairs and specialized repairs, including the replacement of required sections and/or elements.

Quality control includes:
- Dimensional inspection including CMM
- Fluorescent penetrant inspection - Level III
- X-ray inspection
