Aviation Valley

Podkarpacie is a region with extensive aviation traditions. In 2003, WSK Rzeszów initiated the foundation of an association uniting the manufacturers in the aviation industry, under the name “Aviation Valley”.

The organisation, initially associating 17 entities, has “grown” to the present number of 165.

The main aim of the project was to consolidate the industry and to develop a common development strategy and cooperation with other similar clusters in Europe and in the world. The association and the companies forming it are developing, they have ambitious programs and clients nationwide and abroad. Most of all, they have prospects for development in the following years. Such factors as the establishment of the “Aviation Valley” and its development, the current position, the influence on the economic landscape of the regions, numerous initiatives concerning, among other things, all levels of education, testify to the success of the project.

The total annual sales of the companies forming the association is at the level of 3 billion dollars.
